Community Outreach – “com·mu·ni·ty out·reach”– to reach out to the people living in a particular area.
The BSM Community Outreach Team has and continues to invest in the lives of those in the San Marcos area through the following activities:
- Fall Festival and Soup Kitchen Ministries assistance with Primera Iglesia Bautista, San Marcos.
- Visit and spend time with folks in local nursing homes.
- Led worship and ministered to congregation at Church Under the Bridge, San Antonio.
- BSM Band and Drama Teams go in to local churches to lead worship and perform short powerful Christian skits for Sunday services as well as revivals.
- International Ministry Conversational English classes.
- 72 Hours of Prayer Tent in the Quad of the Texas State campus.
- Prayer Table in the Texas State Quad.
- Kids R His Children’s Ministry, a weekly outreach to children in the community.
- Greek Life Outreach.
- Bobcat Build through Texas State University.
- etc.
